Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Water Infrastructure Project Lead to join our senior leadership team and help drive the success of our water infrastructure projects nationally.

In this role, you will oversee the engineering management of key water and wastewater infrastructure projects from design through to construction.

You will be responsible for leading and managing engineering aspects of projects, including ensuring compliance with industry standards and project specifications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage engineering teams to deliver high-quality projects on time and within budget.
  • Develop and implement systems, processes, and governance frameworks to ensure seamless project delivery.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with design teams, consultants, and subcontractors to ensure designs are feasible, cost-effective, and aligned with project objectives.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance across design and construction phases, ensuring compliance with industry standards and project specifications.
  • Work closely with project managers, site managers, construction teams, and other key stakeholders to ensure seamless coordination between design, engineering, and construction activities.
  • Identify potential risks related to engineering and construction and implement mitigation strategies to minimize impact on project delivery.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Proven experience in engineering management within the water and wastewater sector.
  • Strong expertise in design and construct projects, with hands-on experience in contractor-side delivery highly desirable.
  • Background in mechanical engineering highly desirable with strong experience in design management.
  • A passion for building and improving systems, processes, and governance frameworks to drive project success.
  • You will be a natural problem solver who enjoys solving complex problems and partnering with clients and project teams to provide innovative solutions.
