Firesoft People is a leading Australian IT company specializing in automation and IT infrastructure solutions. We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Manager to join our team and drive business growth.

The Role

As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for developing new business opportunities and maintaining existing client relationships. You will work closely with our sales team to identify and pursue new sales leads, and develop strategic plans to achieve sales targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue new sales leads through prospecting, networking, and lead generation strategies
  • Develop and maintain relationships with existing clients to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty
  • Work closely with the sales team to develop sales strategies and plans to achieve sales targets
  • Present solution capabilities to prospective clients and negotiate sales agreements
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure marketing campaigns meet and align with overall sales objectives
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance to identify areas for improvement

Requirements

  • Proven sales experience in technology solutions, preferably in automation software
  • Strong understanding of IT infrastructure and automation solutions
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet sales targets
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think critically
  • Ability to use consultative questioning to identify opportunities for prospects
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • A consistently high work ethic and a can-do attitude
