Melbourne, Victoria, Australia Platinum Pacific Partners Full time
Infrastructure Debt Investment Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Infrastructure Debt Specialist to join our team at Platinum Pacific Partners. As a key member of our investment team, you will be responsible for originating and structuring new deals, as well as managing existing positions.

About the Role

This is a unique opportunity to specialize in infrastructure and real assets, excluding property, in the Australian private credit market. You will work closely with our Director to identify and execute investment opportunities, and will be responsible for structuring term sheets, writing credit papers, and presenting transactions to the investment committee.

Key Responsibilities
  • Originate and structure new deals, including infrastructure, renewables, energy, resources, and other sectors
  • Manage existing positions, including senior secured lending and warrants
  • Work closely with the Director to identify and execute investment opportunities
  • Develop and maintain relationships with global financial sponsors and large cap domestic fund managers
  • Conduct financial modeling and commercial analysis to support investment decisions
Requirements

We are looking for a candidate with 4-8 years of professional experience in debt structuring and/or restructuring, ideally across both cashflow and asset-based lending. You should have a strong background in project finance, infrastructure/resources M&A, or from a boutique advisory firm. Experience in private credit is a plus, but prior real asset exposure is preferred.

You should be comfortable working autonomously, running transactions end-to-end, and managing portfolio positions. Strong financial modeling and commercial acumen are essential for success in this role.

About Platinum Pacific Partners

We are a leading Australian investment management firm with a track record of investing across asset classes. Our team boasts an excellent culture with a dynamic investment team based in Melbourne and Sydney offices. We cover deals across Australia and New Zealand, and our deal teams regularly travel for due diligence purposes.
