Job Title: EL2 Director of NVES Program Management Office

We are seeking an experienced EL2 Director to lead the NVES Program Management Office, responsible for driving the delivery of Australia's New Vehicle Efficiency Standard (NVES).

About the Role

The successful candidate will have a strong background in program management, with experience in coordinating complex projects across branches, divisions, or departments. They will be responsible for overseeing, coordinating, and reporting on the work of two branches (five-six sections) driving the establishment of NVES within existing and new vehicle regulation systems and policies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and maintain key strategic relationships with a broad range of stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain a healthy project architecture, including the appropriate software, to track progress against each NVES deliverable and forward plan.
  • Be responsible for the NVES Project Schedule and maintaining its authority across multiple streams of work.
  • Coordinate reporting activities with project leads to maintain accountability to and visibility with the NVES Steering Committee.
  • Provide and drive strong and healthy project management rituals, and facilitate administrative and coordination requirements across multiple sections.
Requirements

The successful candidate will have:
