Program Director Opportunity

HiTech Group is seeking an experienced Program Director to lead key ICT work programs, focusing on the delivery of innovative technology solutions. This role is based in Canberra, with a 12-month contract and a 12-month extension option.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Project/Program Management: Define project/program goals, scope, and requirements to align with stakeholder expectations.
  • Schedule, Risk, and Issue Management: Manage the program schedule, risks, and issues to ensure smooth delivery of initiatives.
  • Agile Methodologies: Apply agile principles to improve program outcomes and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Communication and Reporting: Provide clear communication and reporting on program progress to stakeholders.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with multiple business programs to ensure consistent service delivery across the organisation.
Requirements:
  • Experience: At least 4-5 years managing technical ICT system delivery projects or programs, including cloud-based solutions.
  • Government Experience: Working within Federal or State Government environments.
  • Leadership and Communication: Strong leadership and communication skills, with a proven ability to engage senior stakeholders.
  • Methodologies and Frameworks: Familiarity with agile methodologies and governance frameworks.
