About the Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Insurance Law Specialist to join our Administrative Law and Commonwealth Compensation Practice in Sydney. This is a challenging role where you will advise the Commonwealth and various self-insured companies on a diverse range of administrative law matters in a fast-paced environment.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • You will work across Commonwealth jurisdictions with self-insurers and Government agencies on statutory issues, including managing claims, as well as supporting litigated proceedings.
  • You will be involved in regular advocacy work in the Administrative Review Tribunal.
  • You will provide expert advice on complex administrative law matters, including developing strategies to mitigate risk and drive results.
  • You will collaborate closely with Partners Kristina Miller and Anella Bortone to deliver exceptional client service and outcomes.

About You

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • 1-2 years' experience in a well-regarded insurance or administrative law practice.
  • Prior litigation experience working on statutory issues and claims and/or administrative law.
  • An interest in advocacy and well-developed analytical and drafting skills.
  • Collaborative mindset and strong communication and organisational skills.
