Business Intelligence Officer Position Overview

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Intelligence Officer to support the development and maintenance of our information analysis capability. As an integral member of our team, you will work closely with stakeholders to identify trends and issues across the entire naval enterprise.

Key responsibilities include maintaining an up-to-date database of materiel assurance data using our online information management system and analysing it to provide actionable insights for decision-making purposes. You will also contribute to strategic planning, program and project management, providing advice on innovation and business improvement.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Ability to understand data architecture and taxonomy to extract valuable insights.
  • Capacity to acquire bespoke skill-sets and formulate best practice methodologies.
  • Strong analytical skills to effectively communicate insight-derived recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build productive working relationships.
