Job Overview

As a Retail Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of the retail section of a pharmacy. You will be responsible for managing staff, scheduling, and ensuring that customers receive outstanding service.


Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the retail section, including training staff and overseeing daily operations;
  • Ensure customer needs are met in a timely and efficient manner;
  • Manage inventory and ensure products are well stocked and appropriately priced;
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to increase revenue and profitability;
  • Collaborate with the Pharmacist Manager to provide a seamless experience for customers;
  • Maintain a safe and clean environment for customers and staff.

Requirements

Our ideal candidate will have:

  • Previous retail management experience, preferably in a pharmacy or healthcare setting;
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
  • Sound knowledge of POS systems, stock control, cash handling, security, and store presentation;
  • A clear understanding of staff rostering requirements and store budgets;
  • Building relationships with suppliers;
  • Ability to mentor and develop team members.
