Senior People Development Specialist

As a seasoned HR professional, you will be part of an Employee Support team tasked with implementing a new operating model and reshaping shared services capability. This is a pivotal advisory position during a time of real organisational growth and change.
Main Responsibilities:- Act as a trusted coach, case manager and strategic sounding board for leaders across a complex environment.
- Lead on high-risk and sensitive employee relations cases, provide leadership coaching and shape how HR supports a diverse and geographically dispersed workforce.
- Triage, guide and resolve high-level people matters while strengthening the ability of line leaders to manage performance, conduct, grievance and absence issues effectively.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills to navigate complex HR scenarios.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with senior leaders and stakeholders.
- A collaborative approach to driving business outcomes and delivering results.
You will bring:
- Strong HR advisory and case management experience within large, complex or unionised environments.
- Solid knowledge of employment legislation and public sector HR frameworks.
- A demonstrated ability to coach and influence senior line leaders through complex scenarios.
- Experience gained in large-scale organisations such as transport, aviation, infrastructure, health, mining or utilities.
