Job Description

Regional Express is seeking a highly motivated and suitably qualified individual to join our team as an Engineering Officer - Airline Asset Management. This is a full-time role located at our Sydney Head Office.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the development and implementation of the Engineering Operations Process and Product enhancement and improvement initiatives.
  • Design, review, and improve Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) related to engineering operations, including close tracking and analysis of discrepancies and responses.
  • Undertake engineering projects, including performing reliability assessments of aircraft and aircraft components.
  • Manage and plan engine Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) repair cycles, including building engine repair cost models and managing related freight movements.
  • Travel frequently to Engine MRO facilities for up to a month on site to oversee engine maintenance and repairs.
  • Draft engine through-life support reviews and Regulatory completion position papers and NPRM responses.
  • Prepare and present briefs at board level on engine asset management performance and budgets.
Requirements:
  • Tertiary qualifications in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Extensive software knowledge specific to document development and management.
  • Experience in developing and reviewing technical documentation.
  • Experience working in the Aviation industry is an advantage.
  • Frequent travel required to other ports nationally and internationally.
  • Proven ability to work in a team environment, but also have an ability to work unsupervised.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage engineering projects.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft suite.
Conditions:

Conditions will be discussed with the successful applicant. Salary on offer commencing from $90 K depending on skills, qualifications, and experience.
