Australia Wide Engineering Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Design Engineer (Level 3 ASP) to join our client\u2019s rapidly growing in-house Electrical Design Department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop compliant electrical design drawings for underground and overhead services.
  • Manage electrical design projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to industry standards.
  • Mentor junior designers and draftspersons, fostering growth within the team.
  • Liaise with utilities, clients, and construction teams to ensure project success.
  • Conduct site visits for surveys, data collection, and resistivity testing.
  • Provide project quotes and perform quality assurance on designs.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

  • Accredited on the Essential Energy Network
  • Qualified to meet the registration criteria as a Category 3A and 3B Designer under the NSW Department of Planning and Environment Scheme.
  • Minimum of 5 years\u2019 experience as a Level 3 Electrical Designer.
  • Expertise in using design tools such as AutoCAD, Microstation V8, LV Drop, and Essential Energy earthing tools.
  • Strong communication, client management, and project management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other industry-specific software.
  • NSW Driver\u2019s License and unrestricted Australian working rights.
  • White Card (or willingness to obtain).
  • Experience with NBN/Telstra pit and pipe designs (highly regarded).
