Safety & Security Officer RoleAbout the Role

Ensuring the safety of patrons, staff and property is a crucial aspect of this role. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for taking preventative actions against disturbances and theft.

This position requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail and a strong ability to work under pressure. If you have a background in security operations and are looking for a challenging role, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the safety of patrons, staff and property
  • Monitor and report disturbances and potential issues to management
  • Interact politely and professionally with patrons
  • Respond to incidents, emergencies and disturbances
  • Control access to restricted areas
Requirements

We are seeking an individual with the following qualifications:

  • Responsible Service of Alcohol certification
  • QLD Certificate 2 or 3 in Security Operations (including Crowd Control)
  • Senior First Aid Certificate with CPR
  • Current QLD Security License
  • Experience in high-volume crowd control
  • Professional appearance and grooming
  • Ability to stand for long periods
  • Flexibility to work a rotating 24/7 roster including weekends and holidays
