Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated Child Protection Specialist to join our team in delivering statutory child protection services across Queensland.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled professional to work with individuals, communities, and partners to ensure the safety and well-being of children and young people.

The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing and managing cases of alleged or suspected child abuse or neglect, developing and implementing case plans to promote positive outcomes, and working collaboratively with other professionals to achieve results.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver statutory child protection services
  • Assess and manage cases of child abuse or neglect
  • Develop and implement case plans to ensure child safety
  • Work collaboratively with professionals and families to achieve positive outcomes

Requirements:

  • Bachelor degree in social work, psychology, human services, or behavioral science
  • Valid driver's license
  • Mandatory COVID-19 vaccination requirement
  • Right to live and work in Australia
