About the Job

The successful candidate will lead a team of five and define how the organization thinks about, plans for, and responds to risk. Reporting to the Executive Director Quality & Risk, you will work hand-in-hand with the executive team and the Board, providing trusted advice and leading strategic initiatives that elevate risk maturity across the business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of five in risk management and compliance
  • Develop and implement risk management strategies and frameworks
  • Provide trusted advice to the executive team and Board on risk-related matters
  • Review and enhance policies, procedures, and systems to ensure alignment with legislation and support decision-making
  • Develop and lead a clear and fit-for-purpose incident response approach
About You
  • Tertiary qualifications in risk management or a related field are essential
  • Proven experience leading and implementing a risk and compliance function is required
  • Strong influencing and negotiation skills with high levels of commerciality and pragmatism are necessary
  • Ability to develop and lead a team while mentoring and driving continuous improvement is crucial
