Job Title: Social Worker – Children with Disabilities
Role OverviewWe are seeking an experienced and skilled social worker to join our team in working with children who have disabilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in social work, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
Key Responsibilities- Support children with learning disabilities, physical or sensory impairments, chronic or life-limiting illnesses, or multiple disabilities.
- Assess the impact of their disabilities and collaborate with parents and carers to develop tailored support plans.
- Work with children up to age 18 to enhance their quality of life and development.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Social Work England registration.
- Eligibility to work in the UK.
- A full UK driving licence.
- A Social Work Qualification, degree or equivalent.
- At least 2 years' experience as a social worker within children's services.
