We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Disability Support Worker.

Job Summary:

This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who wants to make a meaningful difference in the lives of people with disabilities. As a Disability Support Worker, you will provide 1:1 support to NDIS participants, helping them achieve their goals and live fulfilling lives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assistance with community access and recreational activities
  • Personal care, including showering, toileting, and hygiene assistance
  • Manual handling and the use of wheelchairs & hoists
  • Transportation and social engagement
  • Light domestic duties, such as meal preparation and cleaning
  • Behavioural and Mental Health Support
Requirements:
  • Professional or lived experience supporting someone with a disability
  • An understanding of the disability sector and person-centred support
  • Excellent communication skills, and a compassionate approach
  • Flexible availability & a long-term commitment
