Based in Bendigo, we are looking for passionate Disability Support Workers to join our dynamic and supportive team.

Role Overview:
As a Casual Disability Support Worker at Lifely Care, you will provide high-quality, person-centered care to individuals with disabilities in the Bendigo region. You will assist participants in their daily living tasks, promote their independence, and support them in achieving their personal goals. This is a flexible, casual position offering a competitive hourly rate of $40.

Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct assistance to participants with daily living activities, such as personal care, meal preparation, and household tasks.

Support participants in building life skills and engaging in social, recreational, and community activities.

Follow and implement individual support plans tailored to each participant's needs, preferences, and goals.

Assist participants with mobility, medication management, and health monitoring as required.

Foster a respectful, empowering environment where participants feel valued and encouraged to make choices about their lives.

Complete accurate and timely documentation of services provided, including progress notes, health records, and incident reports.

Collaborate with families, team members, and external agencies to ensure holistic care and effective communication.

Engage in ongoing professional development and training to enhance skills and knowledge.

Key Skills and Experience:
Certificate III in Individual Support, Disability, or a related field (or willingness to obtain).

Previous experience in disability support or a related field is preferred but not required.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a genuine passion for supporting individuals with disabilities.

Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Flexibility to adapt to varying schedules and participant needs.

Ability to support individuals with a variety of disabilities, including physical, intellectual, and sensory impairments.

Current First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).

National Police Check and Working with Children Check (required).
