Job Opportunity: Empowering Young Women Coordinator

Job Description:

The Empowering Young Women Coordinator will lead the execution, management and reporting of EYW programs in Bathurst. The role involves program delivery, coordination with participating schools, and liaison with partner organizations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-quality programs under the Building Young Men suite in Bathurst
  • Coordinate with schools and report to stakeholders on program progress
  • Organise end-of-program celebrations and activities for EYW programs
  • Manage all aspects of EYW Programs in Bathurst, including recruitment, marketing, safeguarding, equipment, reporting and budgeting
  • Ongoing review and updating of EYW programs throughout the year
  • Support EYW team members and other Panthers Foundation staff
  • Collaborate with the Panthers Foundation on activities and initiatives at home games in Bathurst and Penrith
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 1-2 years' experience in a similar position or placement
  • Tertiary qualification in social work, youth mentoring or a related field
  • A current driver's licence
  • A valid Working with Children Check (WWCC)
  • Sports First Aid and CPR certification
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Proven communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Commitment to confidentiality and safeguarding protocols
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and program administration tasks
