Join to apply for the Empowering Young Women (EYW) Coordinator - Bathurst Part-Time / Fixed Term role at Penrith Panthers

Based in Bathurst, the successful candidate will coordinate, administer and report on the EYW programs in Bathurst within the Panthers Foundation's Community Pillar, under its wider Empowering Young Women and Building Young Men program objectives. Programs delivered include, but are not limited to; EYW mentoring program, EYW mental health programs and EYW Respectful Relationship programs. This role is funded by NSW Office of Sport and is a part-time (2 days a week) role, on a fixed term contract through to June 30, 2027.

Responsibilities
  • Program delivery of programs under the Building Young Man suite of programs in Bathurst
  • Coordination with participating schools as well as reporting on program to both partner schools and Head of Foundation & Community
  • Organisation of end of program celebrations and activities for Empowering Young Women programs
  • Coordination of all appropriate aspects of Empowering Young Women Programs in Bathurst, including but not limited to, recruitment of schools, participants and mentors, marketing materials, safeguarding, equipment, reporting and expense budgets
  • Ongoing review and updating of Empowering Young Women programs throughout the year
  • Supporting all other Empowering Young Women and Empowering Young Women team members within the Panthers Foundation
  • Supporting Panthers Foundation activities and initiatives at Panthers home games in Bathurst; and in Penrith when possible and where appropriate
Essential
  • Minimum of 1-2 years' experience in the same or a similar role/placement
  • Tertiary qualification in social work, youth mentoring, or other relevant area
  • Current, valid driver's licence
  • Valid, paid NSW Working with Children Check (WWCC)
  • Current Sports First Aid (or equivalent) and CPR certification
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Proven communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Commitment to confidentiality and safeguarding protocols
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and program administration tasks
Desirable
  • Experience in Rugby League, sports clubs, or community sports environments
  • Experience in coordinating disability, community or school-based sports
  • Program evaluation, event coordination
  • Culturally inclusive practices and community engagement strategies
  • Additional qualifications in youth services, social work or sports delivery
  • Experience in school/community mentoring activities
  • Program development/administration/evaluation/reporting
