Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled administrator to join our team as a Program Coordinator. This is a full-time, fixed-term position that will end on June 30, 2027.

The successful candidate will provide administrative and reporting support to our Building Young Men and Empowering Young Women programs and Panthers Foundation team members within the Community Pillar.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver program activities under the Building Young Men suite of programs in Penrith, including coordinating with participating schools and reporting to partner schools and the Head of Foundation & Community.
  • Assist with organizing end-of-program celebrations and activities for Building Young Men programs.
  • Support recruitment of schools, participants and mentors, marketing materials, safeguarding, equipment, reporting and expense budgets for Building Young Men Programs in Penrith.
  • Assist with ongoing review and updates of Building Young Men programs throughout the year.
  • Support Panthers Foundation activities and initiatives at Panthers home games.
  • Provide administrative support to the wider Panthers Foundation team in Penrith and Bathurst as required.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 1-2 years' experience in the same or a similar role/placement.
  • Tertiary qualification in social work, youth mentoring, sport or sport management or related area.
  • Current, valid driver's licence.
  • Valid, paid NSW Working with Children Check (WWCC).
  • Current Sports First Aid (or equivalent) and CPR certification.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills; ability to manage multiple programs and meet deadlines.
  • Proven communication and stakeholder engagement skills, including experience with schools, community organisations, and internal teams.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative, cross-functional team.
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and safeguarding and child safety protocols.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office with ability to complete reporting and program administration tasks efficiently.

Desirable Skills and Experience:

  • Experience in Rugby League, sports clubs, or community sports environments.
  • Experience coordinating and delivering disability, community, or school-based sports.
  • Experience in program and/or event administration.
  • Familiarity with culturally inclusive practices and community engagement strategies.
  • Additional qualifications in youth services or social work; qualifications in sports delivery.
  • Experience delivering school and/or community-based mentoring activities; program development/administration/evaluation/reporting; assistant/admin experience.
