W Hotels is seeking a skilled Chef de Cuisine to lead our culinary team in Sydney. This key position oversees all culinary operations for conference and event spaces, ensuring exceptional food quality, presentation, and service.

  • Create innovative menus that align with client needs and W Sydney's brand standards.
  • Manage the BEO process, including menu development, pricing, tracking, and ordering.
  • Optimize kitchen efficiency, inventory control, cost management, and compliance.
  • Motivate and train a team of chefs and kitchen staff, fostering excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Requirements:

  • 6-8 years of experience in the culinary industry, with at least 2 years in a senior leadership role within luxury hotels, high-end catering, or large-scale event venues.
  • Proven expertise in managing conference and event culinary operations, including menu planning and execution for diverse event formats.
  • A degree from an accredited university in Culinary Arts, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or a related major.
