Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced professional to join our crew in Newcastle. As a key member of our team, you will perform general arborist duties including tree pruning, trimming, shaping and removal.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform tree pruning, trimming, shaping and removal according to industry standards.
  • Operate chainsaws, chippers, stump grinders, elevated work platforms (EWP), and rigging gear safely and efficiently.
  • Ground rigging and rope work.
  • Climb trees using ropes, harnesses and other climbing gear when necessary.
  • Maintain and inspect tools and equipment to ensure safe operation.
  • Ensure work is completed in accordance with safety procedures and best practices.
  • Clean up work sites, including use of leaf blower, removing branches and operating chippers.
  • Truck Driving.
Requirements
  • Strong verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
  • A focused approach to achieve high quality standards.
  • Minimum 2 years experience in the industry.
  • White Card.
  • Drivers License.
  • Level 2 or 3 in arboriculture (or international equivalent).
  • First aid certificate.
  • EWP ticket.
