Job Title: Construction Framework Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled professional to assist in ensuring the framework for risk and compliance is in place to meet specific program requirements. In this role, you will undertake field inspections using appropriate systems, report on findings, and analyze data to develop compliance improvements.

Using your construction knowledge and skills, you will monitor schedules, supervise stakeholders, and conduct Health, Safety Environment and Quality audits. You will also investigate incidents, report findings, and recommend corrective actions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitoring of specific programs of works schedules to ensure planned deliverable dates are continually met or exceeded.
  • Supervision of stakeholders and contractors to ensure all work is completed within agreed timeframes, to cost and quality standards and within H&S guidelines.
  • Conducting Health, Safety Environment and Quality audits.
  • Investigating incidents, reporting findings, and recommending corrective actions.
  • Monitoring HSEQ performance by gathering relevant data and producing statistical reports.
  • Assisting in the development of frameworks to support various risk and compliance elements across the group.
  • Driving ongoing operational performance and continual improvement.
  • Promoting HSE compliance, quality assurance, and risk management.
  • Assisting in the development of HSEQ procedures in conjunction with operational staff.
  • Participating in cross-functional teams supporting the design, development, and deployment of analysis and programs of work.
  • Contributing to process and system development to ensure corporate objectives are met.

About You:

  • Strong financial and business planning skills with demonstrated commercial and financial acumen.
  • Ability to manage complex problems across large, diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated complex and strategic problem-solving skills.
  • Skills in conflict resolution and leadership.
  • Sound knowledge of best practice approaches to Compliance and Risk operations and concept.
  • Proven ability to implement business objectives through measurable and actionable plans.
  • High level of attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of relevant HS&E obligations and legislation.
  • Understanding of Access Networks.
  • Proven experience and knowledge of telecommunications construction.
  • Current driver's license.
  • Current Austel license.
