Job Summary

This role provides high-quality administrative and paralegal support across legal, compliance, and privacy functions at a reputable institution. The successful candidate will work under general direction to contribute to the smooth day-to-day operations of these critical service areas.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide administrative and paralegal support to the Legal, Compliance, and Privacy teams.
  • Support legal matter management processes, including data entry, file handling, and responding to general enquiries.
  • Maintain efficient administrative systems, manage records, and correspondence.
  • Assist with legal processes, including leases, renewals, subpoenas, non-party disclosures, and external document requests.
  • Support the privacy team in handling RTI/IPA requests and privacy complaints.
  • Contribute to legal research, drafting, and the development of training materials and legal documents.
  • Assist with onboarding new staff and provide general office support as needed.
  • Undertake additional duties aligned with the role's purpose and responsibilities.

Requirements:
  • The occupant of this position will hold an associate diploma level qualification with relevant work experience or an equivalent combination of relevant skills, knowledge, and experience.

Candidates must have full unrestricted Australian work rights and may be subject to a National criminal history check.
