Delicatessen Department Lead Role

We're seeking an experienced and motivated individual to lead our deli department. As a Delicatessen Department Lead, you'll have the opportunity to drive sales growth, manage daily operations, and foster a positive team culture.

About the role

Reporting to the Store Manager, you'll be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day running of the deli department. You'll work closely with your team to achieve sales targets, maintain high-quality standards, and provide exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and motivate a team of deli staff to meet sales targets and deliver excellent customer service
  • Monitor stock levels, rotation routines, waste, and quality control to maintain optimal department standards
  • Implement effective processes and systems to simplify operations and improve efficiency
  • Ensure strict compliance with audit, food safety, and regulatory requirements
  • Foster a positive and inclusive team culture that celebrates success and prioritizes employee well-being
