About the Opportunity

  • We are seeking an experienced Risk Manager to lead our team in managing and mitigating potential risks within our organisation.

As a key member of our senior leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing risk management strategies that align with our business objectives. Your expertise will help ensure we operate within the legal and regulatory framework, identifying and assessing potential risks that could impact our business.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in risk management, with experience in the financial services industry. You will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with various departments and stakeholders to integrate compliance and risk management into all business processes.

In this role, you will:

  • Develop and implement risk management strategies to mitigate potential risks associated with our operations, advice, and products.
  • Conduct thorough regulatory analyses of new products and services or new regulatory changes, ensuring appropriate controls are in place before launch.
  • Identify, assess, and prioritise risks associated with our operations, advice, and products, developing and implementing risk mitigation strategies to minimise potential impacts.
  • Create and update compliance policies and procedures to reflect current regulatory requirements and best practices.

Key Qualifications:

  • Degree qualified in Law, finance, accounting, or business.
  • 10 years' experience in risk and compliance roles and/or relevant business roles.
  • Extensive financial services experience essential.
