  1. As a key member of the Chief Procurement Office team, you will be responsible for delivering impactful procurement outcomes, supporting complex categories and navigating enterprise financial systems to extract and analyse procurement spend analytics.
  2. You will also assist with tenders, evaluations and negotiations, developing strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, as well as analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  3. In this role, you will have opportunities to contribute to shaping sourcing success at one of Australia's largest councils, working within streams including procurement, contract management and compliance.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Market analysis and research to identify cost-saving opportunities and develop strategic sourcing solutions.
  • Collaboration with stakeholders to drive procurement innovation and improvement initiatives.
  • Development of business cases to support procurement projects and initiatives.
  • Communication and presentation of procurement outcomes and recommendations to senior stakeholders.
