Restorative Justice Professional

The role of Victim Services Specialist requires a strong understanding of restorative justice practice, theories and processes.
Key responsibilities include providing support and advice to the Victim Services Support and Reform branch, leading delivery of effective Restorative Engagement processes, managing contracted facilitators, contributing to continuous improvement and expansion of victim-centred restorative practice.
Effective communication, interpersonal and leadership skills are essential for success in this role.
Essential Requirements:
- A relevant tertiary qualification (such as Psychology, Social Work, Human Services or Law) and/or a minimum of five years in practice in a related field.
- Experience working in government and/or in victim support / case management would be desirable.
