The Air Lift Systems Program Office (ALSPO) is a business unit within the Airlift and Tanker Systems branch of the Aerospace Systems Division. Our team exists to support Air Mobility Group achieve its mission by providing effective sustainment support solutions.
We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our team as a Chief Contract Administrator. You will be a key member of the ALSPO Commercial team, operating in a fast-paced environment. Your strong interpersonal skills, communication and influencing skills, and ability to remain focused on delivering strategic outcomes will enable you to succeed in this role.
You will be responsible for conducting a wide range of commercial support functions, including contract management, contract change proposals, export controls, technical data and intellectual property, governance and assurance activities, and commercial correspondence under the contract.
This role involves:
- Assisting with procurement planning, contract formation, and contract management activities, ensuring compliance with legislation, procurement policies, processes, and procedures.
- Drafting and delivering procurement and contracting documentation, including templates, correspondence, reports, submissions, contract change proposals, and other procurement and contract management documentation.
- Reviewing contracted services and documentation to ensure and verify correct charges and payments are applied.
- Providing advice in relation to procurement, contracting, financial, and administrative policies, with a strong emphasis on compliance, governance, and assurance.
The estimated annual salary for this position is $96,638, which includes a base salary and a Building Defence Capability Payment (BDCP). This payment enables Defence to provide a premium for positions in occupational disciplines/classifications that are critical to Defence capability.
