We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Contract Manager to join our team in the Air Lift Systems Program Office (ALSPO) Commercial unit. This role will provide critical contract support to the C-27J Spartan, C-130J Hercules through Life Support Sustainment Contracts, as well as the maintenance and support of the Propulsions and Simulator Contracts.

This position is responsible for conducting a wide range of commercial support functions, including but not limited to contract management, contract change proposals, export controls, technical data and intellectual property, governance and assurance activities and commercial correspondence under the contract.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Assisting with procurement planning, contract formation and contract management activities, ensuring compliance with legislation, procurement policies, processes and procedures.
  • Drafting and delivering procurement and contracting documentation including templates, correspondence, reports, submissions, contract change proposals and other procurement and contract management documentation.
  • Reviewing contracted services and documentation to ensure and verify correct charges and payments are applied.
  • Providing advice in relation to procurement, contracting, financial and administrative policies with a strong emphasis on compliance, governance and assurance.

This role is eligible for an additional remuneration benefit known in Defence as a Building Defence Capability Payment (BDCP). The salary for this role is approximately $91,702 - $104,753 per annum, plus up to 15.4% superannuation and a 10% BDCP payment.

About Our Team
The Air Lift Systems Program Office (ALSPO) at RAAF Base Richmond is a Business Unit within the Airlift and Tanker Systems branch of the Aerospace Systems Division. ALSPO is the in-service support agency responsible for sustaining and enhancing the RAAF's C-130J Hercules and C-27J Spartan aircraft. ALSPO, in partnership with industry, exists to support Air Mobility Group achieve its mission by providing effective sustainment support solutions.
