Co-ordinator Role in Homelessness Services

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Co-ordinator to join our team at Toowong, delivering critical services for women and children experiencing homelessness. The successful candidate will lead our Women's residential and community-based accommodation programs, providing service coordination and leadership to a team of Recovery Practitioners/Case Managers and Recovery Support Workers.

The role combines leadership and service user engagement, requiring the ability to empower others, prioritise crisis management, and proactively manage resources. Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing coaching, mentoring, and guidance to staff in case direction and complex client support
  • Leading the team roster and participating in an on-call rotating roster
  • Developing and implementing tools to support service delivery, as well as understanding change management processes

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

  • Rlevant experience in management, case management practices, and framework
  • Established ability in leadership and team support, including day-to-day operational supervision
  • A person-centred focused service background within homelessness, mental health, or at-risk families
  • Ability to work collaboratively, build rapport, and develop relationships with stakeholders
