Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to oversee the administration, configuration, and optimization of our Human Capital Management (HCM) system.

  • This role acts as a key liaison across various teams to ensure that our HCM system supports current and future business needs.

The ideal candidate has strong technical expertise in Workday, excellent problem-solving skills, and a proactive mindset focused on continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities Include
  1. System Administration: Manage day-to-day operations of the HCM platform, including configuration, business process maintenance, security, and user access.
  2. Project Management: Lead or support projects related to system upgrades, new module implementations, and integrations.
  3. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with all stakeholders to gather requirements, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions.
  4. Reporting & Analytics: Develop and maintain custom reports and dashboards to support operational requirements.
  5. Vendor Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for vendor support and other third-party vendors or consultants.
  6. Training & Support: Provide training and support to end users and ensure appropriate documentation is maintained.
  7. Compliance & Security: Ensure data integrity and compliance as applicable.
  8. Continuous Improvement: Monitor system performance and user feedback to recommend enhancements and best practices.
  9. Ensure strong governance across system configurations and processes, maintaining compliance with organisational policies and sector standards.
  10. Leadership of the Team: Lead and mentor the team ensuring high performance and a focus on continuous improvement. Conduct regular reviews, provide coaching, and drive professional growth within the team.
About You
  • Commitment to engage and align with our organisation's values and mission.
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Human Resources, Business, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Significant experience in Workday administration and modules including Core HCM, Compensation, Talent Management, Recruiting, Payroll etc.
  • Strong understanding of Workday reporting (Advanced, Matrix, Composite, etc.) and calculated fields.
  • Excellent project management and communication skills.
  • Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements.
  • Current driver's licence and safe driving record and a willingness to travel between sites when required.
  • Outstanding stakeholder relationship skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

This is a permanent full-time role with hybrid opportunities based at Sydney or Melbourne.
