Job Title: Strategic Leader for Sport and Experience Economy

As a Senior Executive, you will lead policy and strategy development, service delivery, project management, and entity governance in Victoria's sport and experience economy portfolios. Your expertise will be instrumental in driving impactful initiatives that benefit communities across Victoria.

The role involves providing expert advice and services related to professional and community sport, including infrastructure projects and the development and promotion of Victoria's visitor economy and outdoor recreation. You will collaborate with various stakeholders, including local government, sporting and recreation organizations, and key community and industry partners.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead the development and implementation of strategic plans for the sport and experience economy portfolios.
  2. Provide technical expertise and advice on policy and program matters.
  3. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to achieve portfolio objectives.
  4. Manage and govern entities within the portfolios to ensure effective service delivery.

Requirements:

  • Senior Executive Service Level 3 (SES-3) qualification or equivalent experience.
  • Proven leadership and management skills, with a track record of delivering high-impact results.
  • Expertise in policy development, project management, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders and build strong relationships.
