This is an exciting short term opportunity as Manager Circular Economy will help shape the future work program for circular economy across the water sector.

This role is responsible for coordinating circular economy projects and partnerships across the water sector. The role contributes to a team with a focus on improving water service delivery via a strategic program to champion and embed new water service delivery obligations and opportunities across Victoria. This position leads the water sector's transition to a circular economy by developing and maintaining water sector partnerships and delivering projects under related strategies such as Recycling Victoria: a new economy and Victoria's Gas Substitution Roadmap in conjunction with one direct report. This team works closely with the decarbonisation team program due to the strong links between the sector's circular economy and decarbonisation transition.

**Specialist/Technical Expertise/Qualifications**
- Understanding of the interfaces between water, waste and bioenergy are required.
- A tertiary qualification in natural resource management, engineering, environmental science or similar field would be desirable.

**This is a fixed term position available for a period of 3 months. The work location for this position is 8 Nicholson Street, East Melbourne with hybrid work arrangements available.**
