About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned sales leader to join our team as Director of Global Payroll Sales in APAC. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to drive growth and expansion in the region.

As a leader, you will have a direct impact on the growth of our Global Sales team, as well as the recruiting, onboarding, and ongoing training and development of your team. You will work closely with our VP of Global Payroll to drive sales performance and identify opportunities for improvement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute strategies to grow and scale the region
  • Manage, coach, and scale a team of Sales Managers and their teams of Account Executives
  • Assist your team throughout their strategic sales cycles by deeply understanding customers' needs and mapping them to the value
  • Drive sales performance through activity, pipelines, monthly forecasts, and closed-deals to ensure quota attainment
  • Regularly report on team and individual results through pipeline management and forecasting
  • Identify and make recommendations for improvement in the areas of process, efficiency, and productivity
  • Lead the hiring process, as well as training and ramp-up of new team members
  • Partner with peers cross-functionally in marketing, sales development, post-sales, and product
Requirements
  • High energy and ability to move quickly in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience as a 2nd line leader
  • Experience selling and leading teams that sell to multiple regions across APAC
  • Decisiveness and ability to make quick decisions
  • Experience selling into high-velocity orgs (deal cycles ranging from a few weeks to a few months)
  • Experience selling both transactional deals ($10k-$25k ACVs) and more strategic deals ($25k-$250k ACVs)
  • Track record of success in similar roles at other SaaS companies who have experienced high growth and a fast-moving environment
  • Experience selling B2B SaaS, with a strong preference towards experience in HR tech industry
