Customer Service Representative

Role Overview:
As a Customer Service Representative with Australia Post, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional service to our customers. You will be the face of our organization, helping millions of people connect and build community resilience.
We are seeking a friendly, enthusiastic, and reliable individual who is ready to put the customer at the center of everything they do. With a strong focus on customer satisfaction, you will be empowered to make a difference in the community by delivering outstanding service.
About the Opportunity:
- You will work as part of a close-knit team to provide exceptional service to our customers, helping them with their mail lodgements and other needs.
- You will be responsible for managing high-value transactions accurately, including handling and processing cash, cheques, credit cards, and EFTPOS.
- You will promote our products and services through up-selling and cross-selling, merchandising, and other promotional activities.
- You will assist customers with identity services transactions, including Australian Passport Interviews.
- You will be required to perform a range of administrative duties, such as stocktaking and record maintenance.
Requirements:
- You must have experience in customer service and/or cash handling.
- You must be fit to lift up to 16kgs of mail regularly and stand for your shift.
Benefits:
We offer a competitive salary package, with an estimated $33.66 per hour increasing to $35.98 per hour after 3 months, plus 12% Superannuation. You will also receive extensive training on commencement, from Monday to Saturday, 8:45am-5:06pm, initial 5 weeks, part-time.
In addition, you will enjoy a mix of both scheduled and unscheduled shifts, Monday to Saturday, between 8:45 a.m. and 5:06 p.m., with penalty rates applying for Saturday.
