This is a full-time position, working 8 hours a day from the comfort of your own home. As a Senior Estimator, you will be responsible for analyzing blueprints, construction drawings, and other documentation to prepare accurate cost estimates for insulation projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Blueprint Analysis: Analyze blueprints, construction drawings, and other documentation to prepare detailed cost estimates for insulation projects.
  • Estimation Tool Utilization: Utilize PlanSwift Estimator tool effectively for precise and efficient calculations.
  • Building Codes Application: Understand and apply building codes and standards relevant to insulation.
  • Material Selection: Select appropriate insulation materials and methods for each project, considering factors like thermal performance, moisture control, and fire resistance.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with contractors, suppliers, and clients to gather necessary information and negotiate the best pricing.
  • Knowledge Maintenance: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the latest insulation technologies and trends.
  • Reporting: Prepare and present reports detailing the cost breakdown, including materials, labor, and time estimates.
  • Project Management Liaison: Work closely with the project management team to ensure estimates align with project objectives and timelines.
Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years' experience as an Estimator, preferably using PlanSwift Estimator tool.
  • Qualifications: Knowledge of various insulation materials and their applications, skilled in estimation software, strong analytical skills with an aptitude for mathematics, capability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings, and a strong background in Architecture.
  • Personal Attributes: Self-motivated and proactive, strong organizational and time-management skills, team-oriented and adaptable.
