About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Senior Insulation Estimator to join our dynamic team at Remote Staff in Melbourne. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to leverage their expertise in insulation estimation and contribute to our mission of providing top-quality insulation solutions.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing detailed cost estimates for a range of insulation projects, utilizing the PlanSwift Estimator tool effectively. They will also work closely with contractors, suppliers, and clients to gather necessary information and negotiate the best pricing.

Responsibilities
  • Estimation and Analysis: Analyze blueprints, construction drawings, and other documentation to prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates for insulation projects.
  • Tool Utilization: Effectively utilize the PlanSwift Estimator tool for precise and efficient calculations.
  • Collaboration and Negotiation: Collaborate with contractors, suppliers, and clients to gather necessary information and negotiate the best pricing.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Minimum 2 years' experience as an Estimator;
  • Knowledge of various insulation materials and their applications;
  • Skilled in estimation software, particularly PlanSwift;
  • Strong analytical skills with an aptitude for mathematics;
  • Capability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings.
