Key Role: Duty Manager

We are seeking a skilled professional to lead our team in LOCATION.

The successful candidate will be entrusted with overseeing all venue operations, providing support to senior team members, and maintaining exceptional customer service standards.

About You:

- Focus on delivering outstanding customer service and showcasing the highest standard.
- Willingness to dedicate time to learning and supporting the Bar Manager.
- Proven experience in managing operations in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Demonstrate an amazing work ethic and thrive within a strong team.
- Exhibit outstanding customer service skills and build positive relations with guests.

Key Responsibilities:

- Venue Presentation: Execute venue openings and closings, ensuring lighting, music, cleanliness, table presentation, and staff uniform standards meet expectations.
- Customer Service: Handle customer complaints, enhance the guest experience, and execute checks on staff's table maintenance to uphold service standards.
- Wine Service: Educate staff on wine service and basic wine knowledge.
- Food Safety: Ensure all staff members are trained in compliance with hygiene standards.
- Training: Assist in conducting training for junior and casual staff members in responsibilities.
- Management Meetings: Participate in meetings to discuss team feedback and development.
- Rostering: Advise about changes to the roster and rostering needs for specific days.
- Reservation System: Develop a sound knowledge of the reservations system and bookings.
- Cash Up: Complete evening reconciliation and submit reports to key parties.
- End Of Shift Report (EOSR): Ensure the distribution of the EOSR, detailing the day, sales, labour, incidents, and maintenance requirements.
- Venue Maintenance: Keep records of broken items or items in need of repair and promptly notify senior team members.
- Checklists: Maintain and regularly review checklists, ensuring they are constantly updated, displayed, and checked off.
- Deep Cleaning: Participate in weekly deep cleaning of both FOH and BOH areas as outlined by senior team members.
