Job Title: Senior Occupational Therapist

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team in South Eastern Sydney. Our dynamic environment focuses on providing innovative and collaborative care for individuals with complex psychotic disorders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert clinical guidance and education to enhance service delivery and support others in achieving service excellence.
  • Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team, applying professional judgement when dealing with complex situations.
  • Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives and service evaluation processes, leading ongoing research activities with other staff.
  • Utilize advanced computer skills and capacity to use health information systems effectively.
Requirements
  • Qualifications in accordance with Schedule C of the NSW Health Service Health Professionals (State) Award and AHPRA.
  • Extensive postgraduate experience in Occupational Therapy with high-level competency in functional living skills, risk assessments, and interventions in adults with complex psychotic disorders and associated cognitive and behavioural problems.
  • Excellent negotiation, decision-making, communication, and advocacy skills, including ability to interact constructively and collaboratively with diverse stakeholders throughout all organisational levels.
