Job Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct visual dental screenings of students to identify potential oral health issues
  • Provide basic preventive dental services such as cleanings, fluoride treatments, and sealants
  • Educate students on proper brushing/flossing techniques and good oral health habits
  • Refer students to the dental clinic if more advanced care is needed
  • Maintain accurate patient charts and records
  • Promote dental services in the community

Requirements:

  • Accredited Dental Therapy training program completion
  • Active Dental Therapist license holder
  • Strong communication skills to educate students of all ages
  • Ability to relate well with children from diverse backgrounds
  • Independence in working schools
  • Excellent time management and organizational abilities
