About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work as a specialist counsellor, case manager and group worker for people who have been subject to rape and sexual assault.

As part of this role, you will be responsible for providing expert support services to help individuals overcome trauma and achieve their goals.

Main Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver specialist counselling and group work programs tailored to meet the needs of our clients.
  • Work closely with colleagues to identify complex client issues and advocate on their behalf across health, legal and community sectors.
  • Design and deliver training and education programs for staff and external stakeholders.
  • Contribute to strategic projects, service planning and research initiatives that drive continuous improvement in our services.
About You
  • You will need a relevant degree or equivalent qualification and a high level of written and oral communication skills.
  • Prior experience in crisis and trauma situations is highly desirable.
  • Able to work collaboratively as part of a cohesive team culture and promote a safe and respectful environment.
  • Demonstrated capacity to provide effective case management and coordination services.
