Role Description:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough visual dental assessments of students to identify potential oral health issues.
  • Provide essential preventive dental services including cleanings, fluoride treatments, and sealants.
  • Educate students on proper brushing and flossing techniques as well as good oral health practices.
  • Refer students requiring advanced dental care to the school clinic.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and charts.
  • Promote the dental services within the community.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
  • Completion of an accredited Dental Therapy training program.
  • Active licensure as a Dental Therapist in our state.
  • Strong communication skills to educate students of all ages.
  • Ability to connect well with children from diverse backgrounds.
  • High level of professionalism when working independently in schools.
  • Excellent time management and organizational abilities.
  • Passion for preventive oral health education.
