About the Role:
  • We are seeking experienced general commercial lawyers to join our team of Reach Legal Consultants;
  • As a Reach Legal Consultant, you will work with a variety of clients on challenging and interesting matters, providing high-quality legal services while enjoying flexible career options.

The ideal candidate will have 4+ years' experience in general commercial law and strong stakeholder management skills and excellent verbal and written communication skills.

You will be responsible for providing legal advice and support to clients on general commercial contracting matters, including drafting and negotiating contracts, as well as assisting with mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and other complex transactions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drafting and negotiating contracts;
  • Providing legal advice and support to clients on general commercial contracting matters;
  • Assisting with mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and other complex transactions;
  • Conducting research and providing recommendations on commercial law matters;
  • Collaborating with colleagues to deliver exceptional client service;
  • Working autonomously and prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines;
Requirements:
  • 4+ years' experience in general commercial law;
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and excellent verbal and written communication skills;
  • Commercial and business acumen, with a focus on delivering exceptional client service;
  • Ability to hit the ground running and work independently;
  • Right to live and work in Australia and hold or be able to obtain a current practising certificate;
