Job Summary

This position is located within the Joint Executive Office of the Office of the Legal Adviser (L) and the Bureau of Legislative Affairs (H) (L-H/EX), which reports to the Division Chief for Management Resources.

The incumbent is responsible for overseeing and directing a broad range of Budget programs for both Civil Service and Foreign Service employees.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee and direct budget programs for Civil Service and Foreign Service employees.
  • Develop and implement budget plans and strategies.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure effective budget management.
  • Provide financial analysis and recommendations to support budget decision-making.
Qualifications

Applicants must have 1 year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level in the Federal service, which provided the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the duties of the position.

Qualifying specialized experience must demonstrate the following:

  • Experience in budget planning, analysis, and management.
  • Knowledge of federal budget processes and procedures.
  • Ability to analyze complex financial data and make recommendations.

There is no substitute of education for specialized experience for the GS-13 position.
