Role Overview:

This role requires a hands-on leader who can structure and optimise processes while scaling our organisation towards a larger corporate model.

As the Chief Operating Officer, you will be responsible for overseeing and optimising day-to-day operations, working closely with our Managing Director, senior leadership team, and other departments to streamline processes, implement scalable strategies, and ensure operational efficiency.

This is a pivotal role that will directly influence our company's growth trajectory and ability to maintain high standards of performance and client service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the day-to-day operations of the firm, ensuring efficient and effective processes across all departments.
  • Develop and execute operational strategies to support business objectives and growth plans.
  • Collaborate with the Managing Director and senior leadership team to set and implement long-term organisational goals and operational plans.
  • Oversee the implementation of technology and operational systems to improve productivity, scalability, and client satisfaction.
  • Manage cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment and seamless coordination between departments.
  • Continuously assess operational performance, identify areas for improvement, and introduce process improvements or new initiatives.
  • Foster a high-performance culture, providing leadership, guidance, and mentorship to senior operational managers.

About you:

  • Proven experience as a COO, Operations Director, or similar leadership role within the financial services sector.
  • Strong understanding of financial markets, regulatory environments, and industry standards.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence at all levels of the organisation.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive operational efficiency and optimise complex business processes.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to solve problems, navigate challenges, and achieve business goals.
  • Excellent project management and organisational skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field (MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred).
