The Opportunity:

We are seeking a highly skilled Head of Operations to lead and enhance the operational capabilities of the company. This newly created leadership role will be instrumental in driving operational excellence across investment administration, banking, compliance, and technology integration. The ideal candidate is tech-savvy, adaptable, and thrives in a fast-paced environment, with a willingness to engage in all aspects of the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership & Team Management: Lead, mentor, and develop the Operations team to drive efficiency and service excellence.
  • Operational Oversight: Manage investment documentation, banking transactions, AML/CTF compliance, and regulatory adherence.
  • Process & Technology Improvement: Implement efficiency initiatives, leveraging platforms such as Salesforce and Microsoft Office Suite to enhance technology integration.
  • Stakeholder Management: Act as a key liaison with clients, accountants, investment managers, and other stakeholders, particularly within the private client space.
  • Project & Change Management: Drive strategic initiatives that enhance operational effectiveness and support business agility.
What We're Looking For:
  • Proven experience leading operations in financial advisory, funds management, or a similar environment, with exposure to private clients.
  • Strong knowledge of compliance, investment administration, and process optimisation.
  • Tech-savvy, with the ability to leverage technology for operational efficiency.
  • Adaptable to change, proactive in problem-solving, and highly responsive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional leadership, project management, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Salesforce, and investment data platforms.
  • Experience working in both small and large organisations, with a hands-on approach to problem-solving.
  • Comfortable with low-level administrative tasks while leading high-level strategy.
  • Strong understanding of AML and KYC compliance.
  • A long-term commitment to growing within the firm.
Team & Reporting Structure:
  • The Head of Operations will directly manage the Operations team.
  • They will also work closely with the Data & Technology team, led by the CTO.
