Senior Venue Manager Opportunity

    We are seeking an accomplished Senior Venue Manager to oversee the successful operation of a waterfront dining destination in Wollongong.

    In this senior leadership role, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of venue operations, including event management, staff recruitment and training, stock control, licensing and compliance, security, and customer service.

    Reporting to the Area Manager, your key objectives will be to drive business growth, enhance the guest experience, and maintain high standards of quality and service.

    Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all aspects of venue operations to ensure exceptional customer service and high-quality offerings.
  • Develop and implement effective strategies to drive business growth and increase revenue.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing team to achieve business objectives.
  • Build and sustain long-term relationships with local community stakeholders.

    Requirements:

    - A minimum of 3 years' experience as a General Manager or Venue Manager in a busy and high-profile dining establishment.

    - Strong leadership and management capabilities, with the ability to lead and develop a team effectively.

    - Proven experience in building and sustaining long-term relationships within the local community.

    - Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on enhancing the guest experience.

    - Proficiency in cost management and financial acumen.

    - Effective time management skills to ensure a hands-on approach to venue management.
