Restaurant Host/Hostess Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced individual to join our team as a restaurant host/hostess. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years' experience in a professional dining establishment, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work under pressure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service and ensure a positive dining experience for all guests.
  • Work effectively as part of a team to maintain a high level of quality and efficiency in the front-of-house area.
  • Manage time and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines and achieve goals.
  • Be flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
  • Assist with opening and closing procedures, including setting up and cleaning the front-of-house area.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • At least 5 years' experience in a professional dining establishment, preferably in a similar role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and maintain a calm demeanor in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet changing demands and priorities.
  • Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy objects (if required).
