- Coordinate meetings, appointments, and events, including booking venues and arranging catering.
- Support financial processes, including accounts payable and receivable, invoicing, and expense tracking.
- Process and record compliance notices and letters, infringements, and permits.
- Manage, maintain, and update records in accordance with company policies and legal requirements.
- Develop and implement records management policies and procedures.
- Ensure proper classification, storage, retrieval, and disposal of records.
- Assist with audits and compliance checks related to records management.
- Collaborate with other departments to support their records management needs.
- Use records management software to track and manage records throughout their lifecycle.
- A relevant tertiary qualification in business administration, customer service, or a related field is desirable.
- Demonstrated experience in a similar role, preferably within a local government, council setting, or government setting.
- Excellent administrative and organizational skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Previous records experience.
- Proficiency in using a range of software applications, including MS Office Suite, financial management systems, and customer relationship management (CRM) systems.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to produce clear and concise documentation.
- A dynamic and supportive work environment.
- The opportunity to work with a leading recruitment agency in the government sector.
- A competitive hourly rate of $30-$40 per hour.
Please note that to be considered for this role, you must have working rights in Australia, be willing to obtain a police check, and have a full Victorian driver's license and 2 x COVID vaccinations.
