Business Support Officer and Records Management

We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Business Support Officer and Records Management professional to join our team at Randstad. As a key member of our team, you will provide exceptional customer service and administrative support to our clients in the government sector.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide customer service through various channels, including phone, email, and face-to-face interactions.
  • Assist with day-to-day administrative tasks, including data entry, filing, and document management.

  • Support financial processes, including accounts payable and receivable, invoicing, and expense tracking.

Records Management:
  • Manage, maintain, and update records in accordance with company policies and legal requirements.
  • Develop and implement records management policies and procedures.
  • Ensure proper classification, storage, retrieval, and disposal of records.
  • Assist with audits and compliance checks related to records management.
  • Collaborate with other departments to support their records management needs.
  • Use records management software to track and manage records throughout their lifecycle.
Requirements:
  • A relevant tertiary qualification in business administration, customer service, or a related field is desirable.
  • Demonstrated experience in a similar role, preferably within a local government, council setting, or government setting.
  • Excellent administrative and organizational skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Previous records experience.
  • Proficiency in using a range of software applications, including MS Office Suite, financial management systems, and customer relationship management (CRM) systems.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to produce clear and concise documentation.
